Mac os Sonoma no support for Nikon Z8

Digital camera RAW formats supported by iOS 17, iPadOS 17, and macOS Sonoma still no support for Nikon Z8 . Why this ? The professional photographers need this so much.

It appears that as of February 20, 2024, Apple finally now supports Nikon Z8 RAW files (Lossless RAW files only) in MacOS Sonoma, iOS 17, iPadOS 17, and visionOS.

Here's the link to the support page: Digital camera RAW formats supported by iOS 17, iPadOS 17, macOS Sonoma, and visionOS - Apple Support

I think you'll find that very few professional photographers need it. Most will be using either Adobe Lightroom Classic, or Capture One, both of which support Nikon's Z8. My Z8 images are fine in both of those, from the import screen, right through to the final post-processed image.

You can get the Photographer package from Adobe for $9.99/month, which includes Adobe Lightroom (Classic, regular, and mobile versions) and Adobe Photoshop (desktop and mobile versions). It's a subscription, but since you're a professional with the money to buy a $3,699 camera, you won't have a problem with that.
