how can I update my software from macOS HIGH SIERRA ?

I have an older computer from early 2015, can I update the software to 11.0 or more recent? I tried through the App Store, hit updates, and it says there is none. What can I do?

An early 2015 MacBook Air can be upgraded to the latest version of Monterey macOS 12. See: How to download and install macOS - Apple Support

Be aware that if you upgrade to Catalina 10.15 or later you will also need to update any non-Apple 32-bit apps. See: https://www.stclairsoft.com/Go64/
