Hello augerin,

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. If you haven't tried yet we recommend to restart your Apple Watch Ultra as it can help resolve unexpected behavior. If needed, here's how: Restart Apple Watch Ultra - Apple Support

If that doesn't help, you'll want to contact Apple Support as they can review this further for you. Here's the link to contact them: Get Support

Best regards.

On my watch (series 9) the displayed heart rate in the complication updates eventually, but runs behind. If it says, for example, "25 minutes ago" and I pop into the heart rate app momentarily, then the complication will switch to a measurement from maybe 5 minutes ago instead.

I've noticed this both with always-on display and without, so that's not it. And it's been doing this for months, across several updates and restarts.

I'm still having this issue with my Watch Series 9 running watchOS 10.3.1. At least the heart rate complication is displaying, it's just not keeping up - it'll say (for example) 20 minutes ago, but when I tap it, there's a heart rate reading from 2 minutes ago. I'm using Heart Analyzer on the Utility face, and the stock Heart Rate on the Activity Analog and Mickey Mouse faces; both run behind.
