iCloud password addin for Edge & Chrome slowing down web sites

Hi! :)

I'm experiencing a weird issue when using the iCloud Password addin on Windows:

The addin itself works ok for most of the time, but the issue is that whenever the addin is active it slows down other sites in tabs I have open. Especially YouTube. With the addin active, loading youtube.com takes a really long time. When clicking on a video and trying to start playback this can take up to one minute before anything happens. The video page takes a looong time to load.

The same happens if I try and browse Facebook, and it is especially slow when clicking on images or videos. Everything takes forever to load.

Everything sorts itself out if I disable the iCloud Password addin and do a refresh of for example the youtube page.

The issue is the same in both Edge and Chrome and on several computers. Both browsers are updated to the latest versions (Edge: 117.0.2045.43 - Chrome: 117.0.5938.132). Both computers are running Windows 11 (22H2 build 22621.2361).

The iCloud addin is the latest version (2.0.5)

Any tips or tricks?
