Google photos permanently deleted my iCloud photos and now they're gone forever

I have all my photos from 2017-2023 on iCloud.

I downloaded Google photos just to try it out a few months ago, and it automatically started syncing with all the photos in my iCloud.

Google Photos ran out of room and I kept getting notified that storage was going to run out - and so I deleted a bunch of photos from Google photos in 2019 to free up space so that I could still receive emails.

This was a few months ago.. back in June

and it's only just come to my attention that these photos I deleted on Google Photos are no longer on my iCloud.

I've tried everything - I've looked in my trash, recently deleted, Googles trash and recently deleted and they aren't there. I've tried my hard drive which is connected to time machine and nothing is coming up either.

Does anyone have any advice? Very upset over this :(

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.

It seems Google Photos was given permission to sync with iCloud.

Anything deleted on iCloud can be recovered within 30 days as outlined here:

"Recover photos and videos

In Photos on iCloud.com, click the Recently Deleted album in the sidebar. If you don’t see the sidebar, click .
Select the photos or videos you want to recover, then click Recover."

The only way to find these photos to check and see if they were stored anywhere else? You can check other devices, Flash drives, other hard drives, etc.
