Macbook Pro M2 Max not supporting all Dell 3007WFPHC resolutions

Hi,

I am having an issues with a new M2 Max Macbook.

This is my older Macbook which works perfectly with my Dell 30inch monitor (Dell3007WFPHC). The setup for this monitor is a Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter - Business - Apple (SG) connected via DVI-D to the monitor and a USB-C to mini display adapter which is plugged into the Mac.

These are the resolutions I get for it when its connected.

This is the spec of the new Macbook

And these are the resolutions I get when its connected to the same setup.

You can see its giving me the max resolution that the monitor supports but the next option is 1280 x 800, the max is too small for me to read and 2nd option is to big on the 30" monitor.

Has anybody got any ideas why I can get the resolutions in between on the new Macbook?

I've tried apps like BetterDisplay to add custom scaled resolutions to the list but the resolutions I add are not labelled currently not available.

If anybody can provide any help with this it would be much appreciated.

Thanks
