It looks like you joined the Apple Support Communities from an excellent starting point; Add or remove your phone number in Messages or FaceTime - Apple Support. Did you remove your phone number here? If so, is there another phone number associated here or just your Apple ID/email address?


This link will help you with any sending and receiving issues you may be experiencing with iMessage to your device: If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support. There are steps there for

If you have issues with Messages after you set up a new device

If you see a red exclamation point

If you see a green message bubble

If you receive messages on one device but not the other

If you have issues with a group message
