Hi issylew12,

We see that you came to Apple Support Communities from this article: Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple - Apple Support. There's a section that addresses the issue you've mentioned:

If you can't request a refund on reportaproblem.apple.com
* If the charge is pending, you canʼt request a refund yet. After the charge goes through, try to request a refund again.
* If you have an unpaid order, you need to pay for that order before you request a refund. You might need to update your payment information.
* If you don't know why you were charged, review your family members' purchases. If you're the family organizer, tap or click the Apple ID button, then choose All. Purchases charged to your shared payment method appear.

Even if a refund was approved while still pending, it would take a bit to see the funds returned: Check the status of a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple - Apple Support

When will I get the money back?

If your refund is approved, the funds are applied to the same payment method that you used to buy the item. Here's how long it takes for a refund to appear on your account or statement:
Store credit—It might take up to 48 hours to see the refund in your Apple Account balance.
Mobile phone billing—It might take up to 60 days for the statement to show the refund. Processing time might be affected by your carrier. You can contact your carrier for an update.
All other payment methods—It might take up to 30 days for the statement to show the refund. If you don't see the refund after 30 days, contact your financial institution.

Cheers!
