Text Message Search not working after iOS 17 Update

So I noticed with the new ISO 17 update that if you do a search in your text messages it doesn’t search all of them - just a few of them. I use this often and I am hoping someone has figured out how to make it search through all of the text messages not just the most recent ones.

Also, I use the location tracker in messages to check on my daughter and the new map is not Satellite view like it used to be any way of changing that ?

To discuss the issue with searching the Messages app in iOS 17, please reach out to Apple Support directly: Get Support They will need to take it from here.

About switching the map view in the Messages app, the only option it provides is switching from 3D to 2D. If you have feedback you'd like to provide Apple, we'd suggest doing so here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple

Keep in mind, Apple reviews all feedback, but you may not hear back on any given. Apple does not request unsolicited ideas.
