Hi everyone, my sons screen time notifications keep popping up ie. 5 minutes remaining in games etc. (purple notification). We have set games to 1 minute during school time so he focuses where he should. Is this an apple fault, normal or is my kid altering the app limits? He swears he doesn't do anything and these notifications pop up all the time.

Do you have a Screen Time passcode enabled on your sons device? It is possible to ask for more time, but that would require approval with the passcode.
We recommend checking to make sure that "Block at End of Limit" is enabled in Settings > Screen Time > App Limit > [Limit Category].
You can also try changing the Screen Time passcode to rule out its use: Use Screen Time on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
If your settings are enabled correctly and the new passcode doesnt resolve the issue, reach out to Apple Support for a closer look. They have tools to investigate further: Get Support
