A comment. Apple's design decision to put the charging port on the bottom of the magic mouse is a poor one. It means you can't use the mouse while it is charging. Apple, please move the port in the next mouse design, and make it USB C.

Some things that might help you avoid needing to charge the mouse while wanting to use your computer: I have a recurring reminder set up to remind me every 3 or 4 weeks. Also there is a new widget with macOS Sonoma that allows display of the battery percentage permanently on screen.

Thanks. Yes, I know the workarounds. For years I kept a second mouse ready to go, since the main mouse would often die during Zoom sessions, etc. This is frustrating, and a reason good design exists in the first place. I feel like Apple is saying "oh well" more often now.
