I need to delete my child's Apple ID he created one recently so now he has 2.
my child has two apple ID's and I need to delete the one he doesn't use. He is also only 12!

To delete Apple IDs set to an age under 13, you will need to contact Apple Support.

The deletion request must happen from inside the child's account, and the Family Organizer must approve it.
Are you sure they have 2? Where are you seeing this second Apple ID exactly? Can you not just log out of the Apple ID wherever it is?
