Navigate quickly through large Numbers spreadsheet

I am looking for a way to quickly navigate through a very large worksheet (4000+) records while working on my ipad. I use a Brydge keyboard and Apple gen 2 pencil. I don’t have a page down option. Is there a short cut to get to the top or last record or a row number. It is painful trying to scroll.

If you have keyboard then use command or control in combination with the arrow keys. Same on iPadOS as in Numbers for Mac.

Does each record have a distinct 'record number'?

If so, and if you have entered those record numbers in Column A, 0n the first row of the record, you should be able to jump to the beginning of any record with a Search for its record number.

One danger here: The Search function is tied to Replace. A slip of the finger could result in an unwanted change in several rows of the table.

A better procedure may be to

Pick or create an unused column.

Enter the appropriate record number into every row of that column in each record.

Use that column to Filter the table to show only the rows of one specific record.

Barry
