The ios 17.0.1 update’s default tone is too quiet. I can no longer hear my home security alerts - completely negating the purpose of having a home security system.
I’ve tried every fix suggested with no luck
Why “fix” something that was working well, Apple? I sure hope an update is released (soon) to remedy this “fix”.

Per the article Change notification settings on iPhone:
"In Settings , choose which apps can send notifications, change the alert sound, set up location-based alerts, allow government alerts, and more."
An example of changing the alert sound is shown in the article Change message notifications on iPhone where the image shows the current tone is configured as "Note" and can be changed from that screen.
If an app does not include an option for changing that tone, it will default to the system notification sound. In these instances, contact the app developer per How to contact an app developer to request such an option be added if you need a different sound for an app.

No option for changing the alert tone in the app, and am unable to select a tone in Settings>Notifications>(app). Unfortunately the new default notification is much quieter than the previous alert 🙁. Perhaps contacting the app developer is my only option. Sucks.
