I would like to add whatsapps in my new iwatch but cannot do from my apple watch icon from phone

We understand you want to know how to install the WhatsApp on your Apple Watch.
The WhatsApp is not available for the Apple Watch at this time.
You can, however, get notifications for it on your watch. On your phone, go to the Watch app. Go to Notifications and make sure that it's turned on for WhatsApp.
