Ongoing issues with Bluetooth on Intel based (2018) Mac Mini running Sonoma ...

I upgraded to Sonoma (MacOS 14) in the hope that the bluetooth issue may have been addressed. The switch stayed on when I set bluetooth to ON, but my excitement was short-lived as it was still not recognising any of my bluetooth devices. I pulled a System Report and can see the following -

Can I change the "State" to ON, and set "Discoverable" to ON? And, if so, How do I do this?

You will need to find Ventura 13.6.4 (latest version).

  1. Do as if you want to install. Then Quit before install once diwnloaded.
  2. Make sure you backup all your data present on the mini. Ideally, external drive.
  3. Perform clean install of Ventura.
  4. Reinstall all your apps
  5. Recopy all data from external drive.

I am personally avoiding Sonoma on my mini 2018 as long as i still read issues. I do have a M2 MBP as well as an intel-based MBP (2020) on Sonoma and both work fine. But, i don’t have the same needs for these MBP as i have with my mac mini 2018.
