Updated to the most recent OS which started up with live wallpaper. When selecting and downloading a new wallpaper it’s more of an image rather than a live wallpaper like in the startup.

This is a really bad oversight by Apple, as they really made it look like we finally had animated wallpapers. They're still just static images.
I know that moving wallpapers would be resource heavy, but our machines in 2023/2024 are well powered enough to support this feature. Hopefully they add this.
They are actually called Aerial Screensavers. They are not wall papers. Check your screen savers and you will see them there. Wallpaper is still just still pictures.
