iPhone 15 Pro Max Battery Life

Is anyone else having battery issues? I just got my new iPhone 15 Pro Max last Friday and the battery drains faster than my iPhone 13 Pro Max ever did! The entire reason I got the new phone was because my phone died in 6 hours, now this battery is draining even faster! HELP! I am extremely frustrated with Apple, I have tried their support and they won't do anything and say my battery is functioning fine!

[…]My 15 Pro Max fully charged doesn’t last the advertised 25+ hours as goes out just after 17 hours. That is under minor load too, from calling, texting and use of other apps. There is definitely an issue as my phone also feels warmer than usual

Troubleshooting an Overheating iPhone 15 Pro Max:

See About Getting this Serviced:

You have a one-year, out-of-the-box, limited-warranty with this. So, contact Apple Support, and see if you can get this serviced. A heating up iPhone 15 series iPhone is nothing if a new report.

Consider AppleCare:

You may want to consider going about getting AppleCare with this. I always get it with my expensive Apple products, as it has always had a good reputation. To see if this is an option to you, go here: checkcoverage.apple.com

Wattage:

65w is the the fastest, if that is what is mentioned on the device. Use a charging brick of this wattage.

Troubleshooting a Draining iPhone Battery:

A. Battery Drain Info:

The iPhone battery will drain, unless it is plugged in and charging. With lots installed, the charge would be slower. As for how fast it would drain the battery, that would depend on the battery health and the volume (sound) you use.

  1. Go Here: iPhone Battery and Performance - Apple Support
  2. Scroll Down: to "Your battery's maximum capacity"

B. Verify the Baterry Health Percentage:

Apple recommends you get a new battery, once the Battery Health reaches 80% or lower. When the Battery Health is 80% or lower, it is time for a new battery. Unfortunately, these if no way to know how, nor when, then percentage decrease occurred. So see if it tine for a new battery...

  1. Go To: Settings
  2. Tap: Battery
  3. Tap: Battery Health
  4. View: [the percentage]
  5. Is it 80% or less?  If so, it is time for a new battery.
