no dictation at all on iphone 12 pro?

I have an iPhone 12 pro and I would like to use dictation, when I look up how to use it I'm directed to the keyboard settings where i do not have an ‘enable dictation’ button.

I have restarted my phone multiple times but it is still not there.

The only thing I can think as to why this has happened is when I got this phone I transferred the data from an iPhone 6 which didn’t have dictation, but I don’t know if that’s relevant.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?
