In MacBook Pro intel based after the update to macOS Sonoma the Open IDLE application is crashing after pressing the side arrow key. Open IDLE is for python learning from Hello World 3rd Ed.
Anybody have solutions?

Apple removed the Python 2.7.x distribution beginning with macOS 12.3. Anything that attempts to access Python 2 will fail now. Apple does not include Python 3 in the Sonoma distribution, so you need to check with that Open IDLE vendor to see if they have a newer version of their application that bundles Python 3 in the application, or if they depend on an available Python 3 distribution that you need to install into the operating system (e.g. Python.org).
Apple does not include any flavor of Qt in the operating system and its installation is another challenge.
Then find out if they updated their software for new Mac OS!
