I don't know how but my MacBook just got the Sonoma update. Should I even update?

Yes, that is completely normal. After you finish updating and get into the Desktop, you gotta launch OCLP again and run "Post-Install Root Patch", that'll fix the Camera, Graphics Acceleration (including resolution) and WiFi.

Well, with the OCLP boot loader, you can update to Sonoma.

I'll admit that I tried, and the issue I'm having is: the screen resolution is tiny (unable to change to a more reasonable viewing size), and wi-fi is disabled.

I'm looking for who might have advice on how to address these issues, short of starting over again with Time Machine.
