Cannot connect to eduroam
Hello everyone,
I'm currently facing an issue with my MacBook M2 14 running Sonoma OS where I cannot connect to the eduroam network at my university. I've tried several troubleshooting steps, but the issue persists. Here are the details:
Device: MacBook M2 14
Operating System: Sonoma OS
Issue Description:
I've followed the recommended troubleshooting steps, including:
- Checking network settings
- Removing and reconfiguring the eduroam profile
- Ensuring correct network name (SSID) and credentials
- Verifying security settings (WPA2-Enterprise, 802.1X authentication)
- Checking for required security certificates
- Forgetting the network and reconnecting
- Restarting my MacBook
Despite these efforts, I'm still unable to connect to eduroam. I have also confirmed that other devices can connect to eduroam without any issues, so the problem seems to be specific to my MacBook.
Additional Information:
I have already reached out to my university's IT support, and they were unable to provide a solution. Therefore, I'm hoping to find some guidance or insights here in the Apple Support Community.
If anyone has experienced a similar issue or has any suggestions on how to resolve this, I would greatly appreciate your assistance. Connecting to eduroam is crucial for my studies, and I'm eager to get this problem sorted out.
Thank you in advance for your help!
