Apple Music won’t playback Dolby Atmos

When attempting to playback Dolby Atmos content from Apple Music (via my iPhone and my iPad) through lightning to HDMI dongle into my home theater, it won’t play at all. As in, I hit play and it flashes to “ll” then back to the triangle and won’t play. However, the Apple TV app will pass through Dolby Digital content perfectly with either device. What can I do?

Dolby atmos don’t play on disney+ in latest apple tv4K (2023) i set my apple tv to allow dolby atmos and also connect to AVR that supports dolby atmos but still could not get dolby atmos. I also set speakers out as home theatre rather than TV speakers but it always come back to TV speakers. Is this connected? Or is it because i have not set my apple music app ( i don’t plan to use apple music on my apple tv).

Dolby Atmos Music on Lg Tv Hello together Is it possible to play Dolby Atmos / high res music on the Tv or is that still comming? The whole thing does not work via AirPlay 2, since no Dolby Atmos stream is possible here. With the LG app it does not work for the same reason. An Apple TV 4k doesent ether, because I use the only eARC capable port for the Denon Reciver and thus no Passtrought is possible. Does anyone have any other ideas or is there nothing I can do? Thanks a lot

Surround sound (5.1 ch) broken except Apple TV app on Apple TV Box I've spoken to an Apple tech, but we couldn't find a solution. After the latest update, I noticed that Netflix, Disney+, Stan, and Prime Video no longer deliver surround sound (5.1ch). Interestingly, the Apple TV app plays surround sound without any issues. I also tested all my apps (as above) on LG TV, and all of them play 5.1ch sound perfectly. I also tried changing the "Audio Format" to 5.1ch on my Apple TV, but that didn't work either. Since the Apple TV app on my Apple TV Box produces surround sound and the other apps don't, I wonder if there's an issue with the latest update. Has anyone else experienced similar issues?
