Notifications in iPhone 14

I recently purchased iPhone 14 and in that I am not able see notifications until I unlock phone, and no LED on the screen and it was mentioned flash light will be on if any notification received. Sounds bit funny how it is correct to switch on the flash light, how much battery will be used for that. And the other factor is the LED sensor was on when I am in a call. Request to do necessary changes to enable LED light for notifications also instead of only applying for calls.

Hey SMRao,

It sounds like what you've mentioned is the Flash the LED for alerts on iPhone function, which will blink the flash on the back of your iPhone a few times if you get a notification and the iPhone is locked. It doesn't turn the flash on and then leave it on. If you want to see any changes to how this function works, be sure to provide Product Feedback here.

Take care.

Hello SMRao,

Given the information provided so far, the feature is working as expected.

It sounds like you have feedback about notifications and the feature to Flash the LED for alerts on the iPhone. In this case, we would encourage you to provide that feedback here: Product Feedback

Keep in mind, Apple reviews all feedback provided, but you may not hear back on any given. Apple does not request unsolicited ideas.
