Why doesn’t it say online on the device that is sharing location with me but i can see their location. We are also using family sharing with his mom and other family member and i can see the battery percentage for his mom and see the device she is on is online but when I look at his device it just says “no location found”

If the other person is still sharing their location with you but turned off location services in general or for the app, you may see this message. We recommend asking the other person if they still have location service enabled. Turn Location Services and GPS on or off on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
