I have used Facetime, successfully, once - it was the day before yesterday. Today, my camera doesn't work in Facetime or Photo Booth. Grrr! Does anyone have any ideas? OS Monterey 12.7.

Hi Notateen,

If you camera isn't working, this resource covers steps that will help: If the built-in camera isn’t working on your Mac

There are some additional steps that may be useful here: If FaceTime isn't working on your Mac

• Quit FaceTime, then open FaceTime again.
• Restart your Mac.
• Make sure that FaceTime isn't open, then see if your camera works in another app, such as Photo Booth. If it doesn't, you know it's not an issue with FaceTime.
• If you have multiple cameras or microphones connected to your Mac, check the Video menu in the FaceTime menu bar to make sure that you have the correct camera and microphone selected.
• If the issue involves your computer's built-in camera, learn how to resolve issues with the built-in camera.
• If the issue involves iPhone when used as a webcam, consult Continuity Camera: Use your iPhone as a webcam for Mac.

If the issue continues, reach out to Apple Support directly so they can look into this with you further. They can be contacted here: Get Support or by calling the most applicable phone number from this list: Contact Apple for support and service.

Regards.
