Updating with "No Service":
If you have no service, then try updating using a computer. As for "No Message" shown atop the screen, use the second link priced (B.).

B. About "No Service": Is "No Service" shown on the top-left corner of your screen? If so, go here to fix this: If you See No Service or Searching on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
