My solution was to create an Apple Script in Automator to force close the Control Center (see screenshot) - which now sits in the Dock. Whenever the Control Center is acting up and date/time etc. start disappearing, I double click the script and it all goes back to normal. If anyone has other solutions (possibly launching this script automatically when a % of the memory is affected?) I would be curious to hear them. Hopefully a next update will fix this and not ruin even more features ... :-(

I have the same issue and I have OneDrive, SnagIt, Postgres, F-Secure and the rest are Apple items. Clock is gone. This is a bug dude and the sandboxing is enough to prevent one app from stepping on another. It happened after the latest update to Sonoma so don't treat this as the user's fault. "Oh you're just holding it wrong" ...the apps there were the same before an update of versions of Sonoma. Not a new OS, but new versions of Sonoma. So they worked, the clock worked, then it didnt. It is a bug.

Same here on an iMac Pro. I need to force kill the Control Center process every time after the display goes to sleep, when I need to lock the screen, and sometimes without no apparent reason. Apple Support told me I need to erase the mac, revert to Sierra OS (original mac os) and then upgrade all the way up to Ventura. What a crappy system they have now. Even Windows allows rolling back small updates. For me everything started after the last "critical" update. Very disappointing.

I cannot gid rid of that problem despite of all the recent updates. Using an Apple Pro Display XDR with iMac Pro. Other than Apple's stuff, i jave One Drive, SnagIt and Avg on the bar. I have Cinch and HyperDock running in the background too. When I use the BlackMagic EGpu this problem goes away but after a while, the videos running on the monitor become "VHS" like and I have to restart the iMac. Very annoying. Hope they fix this issue soon.

To add,

If your really what to find a possible solution.

Remove some, not all and report back

2 - Safe Mode will also eliminate Third Party Software, extensions and drivers from loading. It will only load the Minimum amount of Core Apple Processes to allow the the computer to function at a reduced Level of Performance

3 - Does the issue present in this mode ?
