Tying to download macOS Ventura

I'm trying to download macOS Ventura, but an error message keeps popping up.

I'm running on macOS Monterey 12.7.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Perhaps try to validate the 'build version model and year' of the MacBook Pro

you actually have, because that is something only you may do successfully.

[This, based on presumption you can use the device to delve into its system.]

One place to check aside from build model number and serial numbers lookup

(and About This Mac, in Finder window) may be found among items here:

Identify your MacBook Pro model - Apple Support

//support.apple.com/en-us/HT201300

"Your Mac provides several tools to help you identify it. The simplest is

'About This Mac', available by choosing About This Mac from the Apple

menu  in the upper-left corner of your screen. The other is the System

Information app. Learn how to use these tools to identify your Mac."

"IF don’t have your Mac or it doesn’t start up, use one of these solutions instead.."

(And more things to check & see are inside linked article.)

It will not work, no matter what method one tries.

Not I normal Software Update Applet in System Preferences

Not in Safe Mode

Not in Recovery Mode

Not even using a special Terminal command to download the Full Version of Ventura

If and only If the newer version of macOS is that important and not a Want versus a Need

Now, on the website it says this mac isn't compatible with Ventura. On the App Store, however, it says this is compatible...

  1. In the App Store, I typed "macos ventura."
  2. I pressed "Get."
  3. It starts to load, but then the error message pops up.

It reads:

Update Not Found

The requested version of macOS is not available. Please check if your Mac is compatible with this software.

Do you think I could still try what you suggested here?

"Intel processor
