I would say wait. Update causing more problems. Especially if you manage your email account on your iPhone. They broke a feature that has existed for over 20 years with this update. It makes managing my emails about four times longer than it did prior to the update because it does not recognize the folder. It should go in based on the subject matter, I have a lot of folders to be managed, and it is very annoying. I understand from this forum that this was a known problem that they chose not to fix during the beta.

How could a feature have existed in iOS for over 20 years?
I'd say yes. I have an iPhone 15 pro and I did updated my iPhone to IOS 17.1 which is looking good, I don't have any problem, for who had problems like the ringtones missing it came with fixes
My phone took 27 hours to transfer info plus update to iOS 17. Since this update my phone crashes daily, taking 10 minutes to restart. After running diagnostics my phone was having “panic” episodes to they replaced the main frame, my phone passed all diagnostics. Less than a week later same issue and is failing diagnostics again….apple said to go to the nearest Apple Store, it’s 3 hours away. They then said to go in for a repair. Super frustrating as they pushed me to get repair after repair to run out the warranty. Not sure if it’s the device or iOS 17, but my second device experiences the same crashing since the update.
I had this problem and I also couldn’t hear my text messages. I reset my network settings and I don’t have the problem anymore.
Well, I’m still checking things out but yesterday I updated my 15 PRO to iOS 17.1 and my custom text tones appeared in my settings and I installed them as they were prior to my new 15 PRO and iOS 17.0. So Apple has paid attention to some issues. I’m still checking out other issues I had.
I believe there has been a modem update in 17.1
13 max pro - I am unable to save to files, share to iMessages. System seems slow overall. Currently regretting taking the update.
I did the update and now my phone keeps saying NO SIM I even brought it to the store to fix it and it’s the phone not the SIM card and it happened right after the update and they are telling me I have to get a new phone now
I am also extremely frustrated since I upgraded on my 14pro. When I go to attach a photo or try to use the camera mode, I have to hit the option about 4 times until it takes me there. My phone locks up randomly about twice a day and there are a bunch of other small annoying glitches. I hope that Apple is aware of these things and is going to continually send out fixes because a bunch of little annoying issues easily turns into a big pain in the ***.
hate the notification tone I find annoying and distracting they need to bring back tritone
Go to settings sounds text tone tap classic at the bottom and tritone is in the list
Since my husband and I updated our software, we have web pages that shut down in the middle of reading or we can’t close a page because tapping on the (x) is useless. We just close the page and reopen it. If we’re lucky, it won’t shut down but we never end up that way. I have restarted my phone countless times and no fix. Anyone having the same issues?
My phone did that and you don’t have to get a new phone. The No Sim problem means your SIM card is damaged. Just take the SIM card out. You will have to do a factory reset so back everything up. You don’t need a new SIM card.
Same thing here Barb, along with a myriad of random crap that happens. I thought my screen might be bad.
this is sooooo frustrating!!!
