Waited until 17.3 before updating wish i hadn't updated as its basically bricked my XR. Apps freeze and then shutdown, phone is incredibily slow to follow any command, phone rings at times but no caller showing and can't answer it. Battery loses 50-60% over night without any use. I have updated all apps cleaned caches etc. Even Apple native apps are affected. Not good Apple!!

I am also extremely frustrated since I upgraded on my 14pro. When I go to attach a photo or try to use the camera mode, I have to hit the option about 4 times until it takes me there. My phone locks up randomly about twice a day and there are a bunch of other small annoying glitches. I hope that Apple is aware of these things and is going to continually send out fixes because a bunch of little annoying issues easily turns into a big pain in the ***.

Since my husband and I updated our software, we have web pages that shut down in the middle of reading or we can’t close a page because tapping on the (x) is useless. We just close the page and reopen it. If we’re lucky, it won’t shut down but we never end up that way. I have restarted my phone countless times and no fix. Anyone having the same issues?

My phone did that and you don’t have to get a new phone. The No Sim problem means your SIM card is damaged. Just take the SIM card out. You will have to do a factory reset so back everything up. You don’t need a new SIM card.

If a SIM is damaged, you need a new one. And you don't need to do a factory reset when getting a new SIM.

The main change I'm having difficulty adapting to is the shutting down at 40% battery, on all of my devices across the board after the most recent update. We could say it's the battery or the phone, but this premature death is occuring suddenly and spontaneously on all 5 of my idevices. I'm trying to be patient and understanding, but I can't help that part of me feels this is simply unacceptable.

I don't know about anyone else, but since I have done the update, i cannot text someone who has a android phone message does not deliver even in a group message. I have tried rebooting my phone and still same thing.

Also when answering or trying to make a call the call goes completely blank cannot hear anything, but you can tell the call is happening because the timer is going.

Last night, around 11pm EST, I went to update my iPad. After the successful update, I wanted to access my Capital One (C1) account. It includes my checking account and few credit cards. I couldn’t get through. Each time I was prompted to the verification page at C1, asking for my phone number to receive a code. Each time it didn’t go through, with same message “We hit a snag. Please try later”. Today same thing. I called the C1, explained that I can’t access my account, and been told it was because I have reached the maximum amount of attempts, precisely, a maximum amount of codes sent by C1. Strange, because I never ever - in order to access my account- had to receive a code first. Touch ID and voilà. I have never opted for the verification code option. Furthermore, to make the situation more complicated, the C1 rep, Stephanie, told me that I need to wait 24 hours from the last attempt and then to try again. I asked her why wait, why not fix it now. No, we can’t do anything, she said, and added that she can’t pull out my account or do troubleshooting until after 24 hours from the last trying, which will be tomorrow around 12:18pm. On the end of our conversation, she asked me if I changed anything before trying to access my account last night. I said nothing…except for the update. And then we both agreed that that’s why. All this means that the Apple update, iOS #17 made a change to my Capital One account. No need to say it was without my authorization and without my knowledge. I am more concerned that each update can change or modify my banking or credit cards accounts than for the late fees I might accrue for not paying on the due date.

I suggest waiting. There are things that keep happening that are incredibly annoying. Such as, the keyboard not opening when it should. the only way to get it to open is by closing all open apps and starting over. Tapping agree doesn’t do anything nor will it proceed to the next screen on software updates for the watch. Scrolling isn’t working in many screens. It’s like Apple is going backwards!
