Purchased music won't play

I purchased 5 new songs today, for which I was billed. The songs downloaded fine, but they won't play. I saw many articles advising to re-download, but I don't even get the download icon next to the song!


This is what I did so far:

  1. Updated iTunes to the latest version
  2. I had 5 computers authorized, so I deauthorized them all and authorized the one I'm using.
  3. Closed iTunes and opened again
  4. Synched my iPod, and though the songs appear in the playlists, the just won't play.


I am using a Windows 11 Dell laptop.


Attached picture: that's how my Purchased look, and there is no download icon next to any of them. However, if I chose "not in my library", the few songs there do have the download icon. Also, I don't understand why they are not in my library!
