iPhone 15 Pro Max Hot and battery draining during phone calls.

I just bought my iPhone 15 pro max last night, and I’ve noticed it getting hot. It was off and on last night but I didn’t think much of it. I switched from my 13 pro max (that never seem to get hot) and made my first call today and talked to my sister for 12 minutes. My battery was at 96%.. It dropped to 89% while following the % bar. During this time is was more than warm too. I had cellular off and was just on WiFi during this time. So I turned my phone off left the house and tried another call. Same amount of time and it dropped 1%. So idk if it could be that I’m on WiFi? Either way I’m disappointed because I work so hard for my money and was really looking forward to this new device. Any help would be appreciated! Good luck to others dealing with the same issues.

Hi there Volsberry,

If you're experiencing issues with battery life on your new iPhone, try implementing the suggestions in this link to maximize battery performance: Batteries - Maximizing Performance - Apple

Also, it's normal for your iPhone to get warm in certain situations. If you're not seeing a temperature alert, there shouldn't be any cause for concern. Learn more about that here: If your iPhone or iPad gets too hot or too cold - Apple Support

If this behavior persists, you'll want to reach out to Apple Support directly for further assistance. They're best-equipped to take a closer look at the issue and provide some additional guidance. This link will help you get started: Apple Support

Take care.
