Different scroll direction setting for mouse and trackpad?

Is there a way to now finally set the scroll direction differently for trackpad (natural) and mouse (not) in Sonoma? I know that this has not been possible in past versions of the OS. If not, are there any workarounds?

Thanks to everyone for your response. Since all of the mice that I utilize are from logitech, I installed Logi Options+, which allows you to set the mouse in that app, which over-rides the System Preferences setting. In other words, if you can have the System Preference set to "natural", which will kick in for the trackpad, and have the Logi Options+ set to "standard" for the mouse. By doing that, I got the separate/independent behavior that I wanted (mouse=standard; trackpad=natural), as long as the mouse is by logitech.

Thanks again.

You can try some third party options...

Thank you very much for the suggestions. I am reluctant to install something from a 3rd party that has not been screened through the App Store. However, with that being said, I may proceed with doing just that, given the culmination of years of frustration. I can't believe that Apple hasn't addressed this in some way to decouple the 2.

Thanks again!
