I installed the new update and after I received a message saying Apple Pay error detected what should I do to fix it?

Here are the steps to reinstall iOS, which should fix the Apple Pay error.


  1. Make sure to back up your device so that you can restore your data later.
  2. Once you've backed up your device, Tap Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device]
  3. Tap Erase All Content and Settings.
  4. If asked, enter your passcode or Apple ID password.
  5. Continue through the prompts. If prompted, choose not to erase the eSIM.
  6. When your device finishes erasing, you can set the device up using the backup you made earlier.
