I had the same issue with my iPhone running ios17 and a Brother printer. After searching on Google I found a statement from Apple saying that ios17 would not work with AirPrint without a printer manufacturer's most recent firmware upgrade developed to support ios17. I was unable to communicate with my printer using Brother's iPrint & Scan utility so I used my MacBook Air to obtain and install Brother's firmware update for my printer. Before installing on my printer, I shut down the printer and my router and re-booted everything. My printer is working with iOS17 now! I suspect that this fix will work for other printers as well. Hope this helps!

Hi jted17,

Have you tried restarting your iPhone and your printer to see if the issue persists? Although it's working with the iPad this can help with minor software issues. You may also need to reconnect both devices to your network and try again. You can find a list of compatible AirPrint models here: About AirPrint - Apple Support

If you're unable to get this resolved you'd want to reach out to your printer manufacturer directly to look into the issue siwth you.

We hope this helps.

Take care.
