I have an iPhone 11 Pro running ios 17.02. The battery drain was from 100% to 24% in 24 hours. During this time the phone was sitting unused on the desk. Battery health is reported as 87%. I can only assume the battery was draining in the background. See photo. Any advice would be appreciated.

Troubleshooting iPhone Battery Draining After an iOS Update Install:
I. Report this to Apple:
Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue. Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come.
II. Tips on this:
Unfortunately, there is no way to determine when nor why the Battery Health decreased.
A. Battery Drain Info:
The iPhone battery will drain, unless it is plugged in and charging. With lots installed, the charge would be slower. As for how fast it would drain the battery, that would depend on the battery health and the volume (sound) you use.
B.. Troubleshooting the Battery:
I have just recieved a brand new replacement iphone 11 pro .
did the latest update on install battery drains in hours when not even being used .
battery health showing 100 percent as it should as being a week old .
