Liquids and electronics do not play together well at all. Does not matter what you've done already to mitigate the spillage either.

You never know you may get lucky and nothing appears to be wrong with it in the near future or for the duration of its life. But don't be surprised if it starts developing a problem or problems of a seemingly random nature sooner rather than later.

Best thing you can do is get it checked out at your nearest Apple Repair Centre asap. If the prognosis is not good then consider having it repaired - depending on the costs - or claiming for it under your home contents insurance policy (assuming you have one). The insurance claim will probably end up being the cheaper option.
