Screensaver changing itself after downloading Sonoma

Is "Show as wallpaper" disabled in System Settings > Screen Saver? If not, try disabling it.

In my case, after Sonoma updtating (14.2), the problem has been resolved. Did you update the MacOS system?

A similar situation occours in my M1 Pro MacBook. Slow motion screensavers are automatically disabled and replaced with the screen sever of Ventura. In System Setting, the item "Show as screen savers", which had been previously enabled, is now disabled. Overwriting Sonoma failed to resolve the problem. No problems instead with traditional screen savers and wallpapers.

I have same issue and two phone calls to Apple still not resolved. Third call is in for Thursday. Going to ask them to research and get back to me rather than them screwing around with the mac not knowing what they are doing.

I have same issue since update. My wallpaper picture which is from my photos changed back to mac sonoma wall paper picture the rolling hills after a while. Tried disabling and enabling everything.

Hope so two calls to Apple and they have no clue what they are doing.

I have called apple four times now regarding the wallpaper issue and nobody knows what to do about it or has even heard about it. Frustrating!

I am up to update 14.3 now and problem still exists
