Imovie storyboard Import will not work since updates 3.0.2

Anyone else having issues importing images/video in to pre-defined storyboards in iMovie since this weeks update to 3.0.2?

I have predefined storyboards that I use every day and drop daily images/video in to for customer videos.

This has worked perfectly until the update pushed this week, now when importing any image/video iMovie hangs. Force closing iMovie is the only solution, on restarting iMovie the image/video is in place in the story board, but if I edit, it hangs again. Storyboards are now completely unstable and unusable, this happens on iPhone and iPad, both ios 17.0.2 and both with iMovie 3.0.2.

If I create using Movie then the imports work, but creating a new movie every time is too time consuming, when I could just drop the media in to a predefined storyboard.

I have deleted the app and reinstalled and all the normal procedures but no effect.

Apple please release a fix, to fix what you have broken...
