GIFT CODE EGC BUNDLE2 AOS VAR-FRA

I have contacted Apple and they explained that as I had bought an iPad for £789, and on my invoice it shows a deduction of £100 (student discount), I paid £689 which is correct. They then charge £100 and send you a £100 gift card as part of the student discount promotion rather than deducting it from your invoice. So they deduct the £100, then charge you £100 separately, and send you a £100 voucher - seems ridiculous to me.
