Why can't I log into Pinterest anymore from Safari?

A month or so ago I stopped being able view Pinterest through Safari on my Mac desktop. I get a blank page with Pinterest in the address bar at the top. I can still access it on my I phone and I pad, just not the Mac.

I contacted Pinterest. They advised me to clear the cache and cookies, and try another browser. I did that and it didnt work. My Mac is updated and I have no added extensions.

Any ideas what the problem is?

Two things:

1) older versions of Safari are going "unsupported" by many sites

2) the version of Safari is inexorably tied to your macOS version,

That means we can be much more specific in our recommendations if we knew your macOS version and the sub-model of your iMac. Both are easily available from "About this Mac..."

That will tell us if you have upgrade options for your OS that will give you a newer version of Safari.

There was an Apple update the other day. I dont think Safari is out of date, but I am new at this. Forgive me, I am a little frustrated that something works one day and not the next. It took me forever to upload this. Can you tell anything by looking at this? Thank you.

Things such as this can happen with Safari. If having installed a newer version of Safari hasn't cleared the problem, then it is recommended that you download and install another browser such as Firefox to use for accessing those problematic sites.
