OneDrive syncing to external Drives on MacOS (Ventura) Hi everyone! Once I updated to Ventura from Big Sur, OneDrive Sync (3 accounts) to my external drives (3 drives) stopped working. I tried everything to reestablish the sync function, but to no avail... I do not know exactly who is to blame. Whether Apple might have changed something to the operation system or Microsoft decided to eliminate the possibility to be able to sync to external (and therefore removable) drives. It would not be to far fetched to assume Apple did change something to the file system and integration of cloud syncing apps. As far as I can tell, something similar occurred with Dropbox and GoogleDrive. Please Apple, work together with Microsoft as well as Google, to secure syncing capabilities to external/removable drives work flawlessly with Apple Silicon!!!

Two Macs connected to a single iCloud account If I connect two different macs to my iCloud account, will the files on both their desktops be kept separate in iCloud, or will they all go into the same iCloud folder called Desktop? I would like to sync two macbooks but have their dekstop files kept separate

New M4 Mini with external SSD - NO access to iCloud Drive. I've bought a new M4 Mini to replace my iMac, and have set up my account on an external SSD because the internal storage option was so expensive. Everything runs great until I get around to trying to share files with my other devices, which I have always done using iCloud Drive. But nothing shows up in the finder other than a link to Settings for iCloud. Sync there is turned on, but when I click 'learn more' I find (from Set up iCloud Drive on all of your devices - Apple Support (NZ)): "Note: If your Home folder isn’t located on your internal disk, or is a non-APFS volume, you must move the Home folder to an internal disk before you can set up iCloud Drive." It would have been good to know this before ordering my new Mac. Ironically, it looks like I can use iCloud Drive just fine from my Windows PC; but only Dropbox, Google Drive or some other file sharing from my new Mac. What a pain.
