I forgot my iTunes/Apple ID password. I reset Apple ID password but can't get into iTunes. Looks like it's still looking for old password. Help!

Latest version of iTunes running on a Win 10 PC. I couldn’t remember iTunes password (not knowing it was same as Apple ID). Changed Apple ID password. Tried to login on iTunes with new password, it didn’t work. What now?
