iphone 13 pro max Bluetooth headphones

I use 3m work tunes Bluetooth headphones while operating equipment. I recently upgraded from an Xr to a 13pro max.

Since upgrading the sound randomly stops on the headphones and I have to touch the play button on the headphones to continue the sound. However, if you look at the podcast the video has continued to play and when you touch the play button on the headphone the audio starts wherever the video is at not where you lost the sound.

I turned off the shake feature in the settings and that didn’t help. I also purchased a new pair of 3m work tunes. And it still does it.

everything works fine with my Xr.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

We would like to see how we can help you with your Bluetooth headphones pausing unexpectedly. Does this only happen with the Podcasts app? Please update to iOS 17.0.2, and test to see if the issue persists. Follow the steps in this link to update: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
