I have a MacBook Pro M1 2020, it's having some strange mouse click issues right after I updated to macOS Sonoma. Anyone having the same problem? I hope Apple fixes the problem soon, it's irritating.

It was happening because I had McAfee total protection enabled. It's all fixed, mcAfee total protection will have to come out with an an update so it will be compatible with macOS Sonoma. I contacted Apple about it and they was doing a screen share. I disabled the virus protection.
Edit 2: Bug is back even after not using MMB.

Is there any fix? It's affecting my daily work in a very negative way.
If they don't fix, they should at least retribute my money back.
Having the same issue with both the trackpad and the magic mouse. Very annoying.
Having the same issue. I reinstalled Sonoma and had no mouse problems for a day. The next morning I'm back to restarting every few minutes because the mouse click is not recognized.

i'm using logi mx master 3s and suffer this issue still.. have anyone figure it out how to solve this matter? i have tried several step none works.. on latest sonoma..
this has been going on since the update.. why has apple not addressed this?
The issue is still not resolved in Sonoma 14.1.2 on a Macbook Air M1 with a Magic Mouse and also with the internal mouse pad.
This workaround worked on me for now..

I have missing left click issues with my bt mouse and missing two fingers scrolling on apple trackpad. Apple is becoming a very unreliable computer brand. Not good.
