I just received my new iphone 15 today and am trading in my old iphone 11. I haven't been sent anything about trading my device in since i added it to my cart before buying my new phone. What am I meant to do and is there a way to check whether my trade in was actually processed when i bought my phone. Am i meant to have some sort of box to send it back in?

From the FAQ section of Apple Trade In:
"How quickly should I return my device?
Your trade-in estimate is valid for 14 days after you receive your new device. It’s important that we receive your trade-in within this time frame to ensure that you get the estimated value."
and
"How do I send back my device?
We’ll either send you a prepaid trade-in kit or email you drop-off instructions. If we send you a trade-in kit, it will include instructions on how to prepare and package your device.
Here’s how to prepare and package your Apple Watch, iPhone, or Android device"
If you have not received that trade-in kit or email, contact Apple Support to ensure you're able to complete the process within the quoted 14 day window of receiving your new device.
