<app> would like to access data from other apps

Since upgrading to MacOS Sonoma, I've been getting two pop-ups every time I boot up my machine, as follows:

"USBserver" would like to access data from other apps." Don't allow / Allow.

"NETserver" would like to access data from other apps." Don't allow / Allow.

I have no idea which app on my system is triggering this or why. Any ideas how to deal with this so that the annoying pop-ups don't appear every time I log in?

Thanks for any insights.

It would appear possibly related to some Third Party Security Software if any is installed on this computer ?

Or some third party application that whats or needs Full Disk Access

To avoid the question / answer and question answer scenario

Download the Application Etrecheck directly from the Developer.

The Application is Not a " Silver Bullet " but only a tool to examine the Hardware / Software used on this computer

This is a Diagnostic Tool that makes no changes to the computer.

It makes a coherent and readable inventory of both the Hardware and Software used on the computer

The application is free or paid for added features.

Looks like both prompts are regarding the same app, just different parts of the app....the icon in the message is the same for both requests. Look for that icon on one of your installed third party apps in order to identify the app in question.

I agree these messages are frustrating since they never include enough information to make an informed decision. Even if you know the app involved, why does it need that access?

When in doubt it is best to deny any request...sooner or later you will discover an app which isn't working because it doesn't have the necessary access permissions. Unfortunately, changing those permissions is not easy because where are those permissions configured exactly? Sometimes you can delete the app's .plist preference file and relaunch the app which can get the app to prompt you with these first time messages again.
