I cannot delete, send to trash , since installing Sonoma

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Do you by chance have an external hard drive connected to your Mac, and if so, does disconnecting it help? If that's not the case, let's shut down your Mac and start it up in safe mode to help narrow this down and resolve. Here's more information on starting to safe mode and what to do if the issue does or doesn't continue there: Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support

To exit safe mode, you'll restart your Mac normally. Keep us posted on the results.
