In Print Center, use the "Printer -> Add to Dock" menu.
Hope this helps.

This should not be an issue—
Sonoma—
A new print icon called “Print Center “ replaces all of the old printer icons. Everything works as expected.

For me, too - though that hardly seems "Mac-like" intuitive, and now the printer image is in a lozenge like all the other icons, making it that little bit harder to distinguish from the other items in the dock.
Trying to print the listing of files inside a folder.
i previously dragged the folder over the printer icon and it worked.
With Mac OS Sonoma the “print center” does not seem to allow the printer icon to be seen on its own, and I can’t print the contents.
Now what?

Your Oct 3 9:36 says you can’t find the menu option to send printer to dock.
Your Oct 3 9:39 says “it did work.”
I am stuck at your 9:36 position - no menu option available to me. Please advise where you found it and how you got it to work??
thanks

I open print center but there is nothing that says Printer add to dock menu
Thanks it did work
